Lourdes

Christine is actually a wheelchair-using woman with multiple sclerosis. As a way to flee her isolation, she makes a journey to Lourdes, the famous site of pilgrimage together. Throughout her stay she starts to regain the use of her limbs. This is in contrast with others, who appear to have stronger faith than Christine but experience only slight, passing progress. Her pilgrims are happy to call it a miracle. As that the pilgrimage brings to a close, exactly how true an claim this is becomes unclear.
